Drupal Install
Monday, July 31st, 2006Last night I finally got the nerve to wipe out the YSAM website. I didn’t know how long the site was going to be down, so I did it at night just in case. Drupal has a new version out (4.7.2) so I downloaded that and deleted the old website. I couldn’t quite remember how I installed drupal on the subdomain a while back so I referred to drupal’s handbook on installation. It does NOT help all that much. After searching for a while I actually found an installation manual from my host’s support site (here). It turns out that you have to import the mysql file so that it sets up the tables. After I did that install was a snap. In a week or two I will discuss in detail how to install the latest version of Drupal.
